Chemical Peel (Mid-Depth Peel)

This resurfacing peel is an enhanced superficial to medium depth peel system designed to significantly brighten uneven skin tone, including hyperpigmented areas, and age spots, powerfully target skin laxity, acne, fine lines and wrinkles and visibly improve skin imperfections resulting in a renewed complexion. Moderate flaking to mild peeling 4–10 days, redness 3–7 days, heat and light sensitivity 7–14 days, tightness of itching 7–14 days.
With medium depth peels, you may experience slight flaking to peeling of the skin for 3-7 days after treatment. If you do not experience flaking or peeling, this does not mean the peel was ineffective. The ingredients and delivery agents still worked.
Before a peel can be performed, a 15 minute complimentary skin analysis/consultation is required prior to your first appointment. A patch test will also be given to avoid any irritation or allergies.
With salicylic or TCA peels, there usually is flaking and peeling. Every client is different on how much peeling or flaking he/she will receive. After a salicylic or TCA peel, it is important to follow given instructions.

General science (AAD): a medium-depth peel is intended to reach through the epidermis into the upper dermis. That deeper controlled injury can help pigment, texture, and wrinkles more than a lunchtime peel, and it needs more aftercare and sun avoidance. Exact depth is set by the professional, not by a website name
