Chemical Peel (Mild)

Elena to add: one-line tagline.

This progressive peel is a superficial peel system designed to target mild acne, visible signs of aging, and brighten pigmentation irregularities and uneven skin tone revealing a revitalized and radiant complexion. Moderate flaking to mild peeling 3-5 days, redness 3-24 hrs, heat & light sensitivity up to 1 week, tightness of itching 1 week.

We offer light “lunch time” peels and medium depth peels. With a lunch time peel, you may only experience microscopic flaking or no flaking at all within a few days of treatment. If you do not experience flaking or peeling, this does not mean the peel was ineffective. The ingredients and delivery agents still worked.

Before a peel can be performed, a 15 minute complimentary skin analysis/consultation is required prior to your first appointment. A patch test will also be given to avoid any irritation or allergies.

With glycolic and lactic peels, there should only be microscopic flaking. Keep in mind with glycolic or lactic peels that it is a series of peels to achieve your desired results. It is important that you always use a sunblock of at least SPF 15.

How it works

General modality notes — not a diagnosis and not a guarantee from this page.

A chemical peel applies an acid solution so a controlled layer of skin sheds and newer skin can show. Superficial or “lunchtime” peels stay in the epidermis (glycolic, lactic, salicylic, and similar). They are often done as a series. Depth depends on the acid, the strength, and how it is applied. Elena chooses that after your complimentary skin analysis.
